Kate from Normandy Park, WA wanted something unique to take as a present to her relatives in Ireland. She liked bright colors and had requested a square plate that could be a centerpiece of a table. Thus, came "River of Life". The wavy orange corner pieces were Gary's first attempt at scoring such a severe shape out of glass. He drew the waves on glass and created them on his first try. It inspired him to later create "Waves" and "Cosmic Waves". |

Abstract Sailboat |

Lisa, from Seattle, WA wanted something similar to the Layers of Grand Canyon that she purchased for herself but with a sailboat theme. The piece was a gift for a man who loved sailboats. We created this panel on a clear base using chunks and edge pieces leftover from other projects. It was soft fused, giving this piece a nice 3D feel and look. |

Colorful Table |

Cheryl from Leominster, MA contacted us to find out if we could make something similar to the "Splash of Color" table that she loved. We said we would give it a try and went out to find an interesting table base that would work for the table. The base was large and resulted in the biggest piece of glasswork we have created so far taking up most of our kiln shelf. Due to its size, the table top was a big challenge for us to make and in the end, when we were putting the final touches on the edges, we dropped it and had a corner brake off. Cheryl wanted to know if we could repair it. We did the best we could and she was happy with the final piece. Click on the photos to see the before and after repair table top. |

Wall Hanging and Night Light |

Bonnie from Port Washington, WI found our website while looking for a night light for her bathroom. After sending me a photo of her shower curtain (click on the image for a photo of the shower curtain) and letting me know her color preference, I was able to create a night light and a wall hanging that she says she absolutely"LOVES". |

Chick Coaster |

Shirley from Burien, WA saw a picture of our "Chick" Plate and wanted to know if we could create a coaster-size version of it. It would make a perfect gift for her friend in Germany. We were able to put together this 5 in x 5 in "Hot Rod Chick"coaster that traveled all the way to Germany! |
